Partnership and Progress with TCS 

Transportation Charter Services (TCS) is a name synonymous with excellence in motorcoach services, particularly in the tour and travel sectors. 

Established in Southern California and driven by Terry Fischer's passion for motorcoach travel, TCS has grown into a powerhouse, spanning three brands and several locations across North America. Fischer's journey with motorcoaches began in 1986, in the Canadian Rockies as a tour bus driver, and evolved through stints in the Canadian tourism industry and family business ventures. 

His career came full circle in 2011 when he purchased TCS, a company founded in 1988 by Ray Gillian. Under Fischer's leadership, TCS transformed dramatically, growing from 18 to 80 buses in under a decade and establishing a well-earned reputation as a major player in transportation services, including serving tour operators, sports teams, and conventions. 

The TCS drivers and operations team share in this appreciation for Prevost’s dedication. "It's an amazing feat for it to be a hundred years old and to continue delivering the quality it always has—whether that's the buses or the service team. Working with the Prevost service team has always been a pleasure," says Darren Pooler, TCS operations manager for its Canadian division. 

In 2023, TCS was awarded IMG's Operator of the year, a prestigious award that recognizes the top operators. Fischer and TCS have actively participated as members of the International Motorcoach Group (IMG), a prestigious network renowned for its high standards in safety, reliability, and service bringing together the industry's best, fostering collaboration and innovation that set the benchmark for excellence across North America. 

During Prevost’s 100th anniversary year, Fischer reflected on the countless ways Prevost has supported TCS’s growth and success. His admiration for Prevost extended beyond the product itself; he noted the pride he felt walking through the factory, observing the dedication of the workers who bring the coaches to life. 

Over the years, Fischer has purchased over 100 coaches from Prevost, a testament to his trust in their quality and unmatched support.
