The Legacy of Adventure
“We were at the stage of life that we were looking to have the best of the best. The coaches are built well, they ride great. It gives us an opportunity to expand our friendships.”
Rob, Prevost Motorhome Owner
For countless enthusiasts, a Prevost represents the achievement of a lifelong aspiration, but it also introduces owners to a thriving community. This community, nurtured over the past century, owes its existence to those who not only built the motorhomes but gave people reasons to use the coach and enjoy it.
“The wow part of it for us is that we get to see people enjoy the coach so much.”
Frank Konigseder Jr., Vice President and Co-owner of Liberty Coach
The Konigseder's family legacy, now spanning three generations, has been deeply rooted in the Prevost community. "My parents were charter members of the Prevost Motorcoach Club," Frank shares. Staying true to these family values, Liberty Coach remains committed to supporting the motorcoach lifestyle, continually giving Prevost owners reasons to get out, enjoy their coaches, and meet others.
“Everybody's friends, the group of us that are Prevost owners, have a special connection, above and beyond the connection that we all have living in RVs.”
Brian, Prevost Motorhome Owner
In 1979, Liberty Coach partnered with Prevost and produced its first LeMirage conversion.
Liberty is a family-owned and operated company that was started as a backyard business in the far north suburbs of Chicago in 1972. Today, Liberty builds 14–16 new Elegant Lady coaches per model year at its North Chicago production facility, nearly all on a custom-order basis. The company also operates a full-service dealership in Stuart, Fla., to provide maintenance and upgrade services and an inventory of late-pre-owned coaches.
Liberty is known for constantly pushing the envelope in coach technology and design and has been responsible for virtually every major engineering breakthrough since the Prevost partnership began.
