Prevost 100th

38 Years Strong and 100% Prevost

For over 38 years, Sander Kaplan has steered A Candies Coachworks to success, with a company now spanning to three locations in Gainesville, Daytona Beach, and Jacksonville, Florida. It all began with a leap of faith when Sander purchased his first Prevost motorcoach. Today, the company proudly owns and operates a fleet of 42 motorcoaches, running a mix of older and newer Prevost models, with a focus on customer satisfaction and safety.

“A hundred years is pretty impressive. Anybody that can run a business that long or start a business and provide for others and families, what an incredible dream.”

A Candies Coachworks has grown to expand their partnership with the University of Florida, adding new Prevost coaches to the fleet. Their commitment to excellence and loyalty to Prevost remains strong—A Candies Coachworks is a 100% Prevost operation, a point of pride that Sander’s wife helped commemorate with custom shirts for the team.

Behind Candies’ success is a firm belief in the value of their employees. While Sander may receive credit for running the business and shaping its vision, he is quick to emphasize that the company's real strength lies in its dedicated team. "They're the ones running the business," he says. “They deserve the pat on the back.”

Reflecting on Prevost's 100-year journey since its founding in 1924, Sander is inspired by the company's dedication to producing the best product in the industry. For him, Eugène Prévost’s legacy serves as a beacon of inspiration—a dream of longevity and success that he hopes to emulate with Candies.

As Candies moves forward, Sander envisions a future where his business, too, can stand the test of time, supporting families and employees for generations to come—just as Prevost has.
