Prevost 100th

Arthur Ballard
The “Art” of Service and Support

To mark its 100th anniversary, Prevost hosted a series of events and activities throughout the United States and Canada at its Service Centers. These celebrations gave our customers and employees a chance to learn, celebrate, and appreciate the dedicated individuals who stand behind Prevost’s success.

Arthur Ballard, known affectionately as “Art,” is recognized not only for his mechanical expertise but also for his artistic flair. With a camera in his hand, Art has become the unofficial chronicler of daily life and special moments at the Service Center.

“I love working on buses, I love being in the shop, and I love Prevost. To be 100 years in business means they are really doing something good.”

“I drive, I am a photographer, a tech, and I sing,” he explains about his many hobbies and jobs he’s held over his career.

Originally starting his Prevost career in July of 2000 at the Prevost Service Center in Texas, Art moved back to California to work at the Mira Loma Service Center in 2001. With over forty years working in the industry, he takes great pride in being part of the team. With a camera in one hand and his tools by his side, he loves what he does.

“I love working on buses, I love being in the shop, and I love Prevost. To be 100 years in business means they are really doing something good,” Art says, reflecting on the significance of the centenary. His words echo the sentiments of many at Prevost, underscoring a shared commitment to quality and service.

Art and his colleagues at the Mira Loma Service Center are not just celebrating a century of success, they are honoring a century of community, craftsmanship, and care—a legacy that Art continues every day.
