History of Le Bus

After returning home from his service in the U.S. Army as a mechanic working on power plants in Egypt during World War II, Mike Zanetti married Marge Zelenka. Together, they founded Vet’s Taxi, a taxi company based in Rock Springs, Wyoming. A few years later, they had the opportunity to offer transportation for Union Pacific and Little America employees, which led to the purchase of three buses. Subsequently, they acquired the company Jackson Rock Springs Stages.

During the 1960s, their children, James and Leanne, joined them in growing the company. In 1980, an opportunity arose for James and Leanne to purchase the company from their parents. With the help and support of their partners, Jo and Dennis, they embarked on a path of expansion, eventually operating over 90 buses.

In 1986, the company extended its operations by moving a couple of buses to Salt Lake City and began operating charters to Wendover. Recognizing that the name Jackson Rock Springs Stages did not align with their operations in Salt Lake, they rebranded as Le Bus.

“Prevost’s products have helped our business succeed for many decades. The Prevost product is the best coach on the road for safety, comfort, and dependability. They are just one call away for any support at any hour of the day. We value their partnership.”
